Time is really flying.
I turned 18 already. zomg :'(

Uni life is really uhm.. hectic? (in a good way though)

I'M GONNA START COLLEGE NEXT MONDAY.
I'm actually kinda excited.
Wondering how my college life will turn out..

Looking at how both of my brothers go through their college lives, surviving on their own, makes me feel like a pampered child.

This was 13 years back..

It's my turn now.
Time to grow up!
Time to be really independent.
Though I won't be experiencing hostel life as them, but still, college life is different right?

It was totally an unexpected trip to i-City on 1st July.
This was how it happened...
Last Friday, Uncle Leonard and Syzin came down to KL! And who are they? They're my maple guildmates from Singapore! :D So, there was this gathering hosted by Vincent where we were supposed to meet up in Mid Valley. Around 4pm, Yi Shen picked me up from my house after my exhausting driving lesson D: (Yi Shen knows them too lol) We took almost half an hour to look for a parking -.- It was really frustrating. We should just take a bus next time, okay?

After we met up in front of McDonald's opposite the cinema, we went to play snooker. Ohmygoodness -.- it was my first time holding that stick lol. I'm really bad at it D: no more second time for me :)

I think we left Mid Valley around 7.30pm?
I can't really remember but I know it was getting late.
This was what I had in mind first..
After dinner, they wanted to go i-City and it will be super late by that time I reach home.
So, I thought of leaving after dinner. But then, I really wanted to go i-City.
And I think Yi Shen wanted to go too.
So, I called my dad to ask for his permission if I could go home late that day LOL.
Suprisingly, he said YES :D

*poofs! We reached i-City magically. lol :D
It's really BRIGHT.
and COLOURFUL.
Had our dinner at this BBQ Steamboat Restaurant nearby. (Thanks uncle and sy for the dinner!)

Walked around after dinner.
In case any of you planning to go i-City, bring your best/high performance camera.
I went there unprepared :( my DSLR was at home and I only had my digital one.

The pictures turned out quite good compared to the normal setting. and it's without flash! I guess digital cameras ain't that bad too :) But of course, if it was a DSLR, i bet the pictures will turn out even better. The focus points will clearly be shown compared to digital.

I got no pictures for this part cause I did not bring my camera in.
And we were not suppose to. lol. But Syzin brought hers in! :D

There is a reason/excuse for not updating my blog okay..
I would have updated it EVERYDAY if my computer had not failed me. It BROKE DOWN for almost A MONTH. Yes, like how a car broke down, my computer broke down just like that. It was frustrating at first, but I was sort of grateful later. I had proven myself that I CAN LIVE WITHOUT A COMPUTER :D I'm not lifeless. woots! :)

So now, I'm back :)
Wanna know what happened to my TWCS? I think I failed the second interview :( But it was a really great experience presenting a PowerPoint presentation ALONE for like 20 minutes. I had only like 4 slides, and others were like 10-12 slides! (the other candidates which I met outside the interview room) My presentation was really spontaneous. I explained a lot based on pictures rather than just words. After the presentation, they started asking questions about my future career and stuffs related to going green since my presentation was all about sustainable living. But I think I did well cause after my interview, one of the interviewers told me that I did great. So, it sort of gave me some hope. But it did not turn out that way :( Perhaps there was many other candidates which did a much better job than me. Oh well.. I shall try again next year!

I'm actually kinda jealous of my friends who had started college. I just can't wait to start mine.

Thanks to 2010, I've learnt a lot of valuable lessons in life. As for 2011, I'm hoping to gain more experiences in life by.. firstly, attending the National Service.

Yesh, you got that right. PLKN. I'm on a mission to serve my country from 2nd Jan 2011 (that is tomorrow) till 13th March 2011. My dad told me to always take it as a good thing and think positively about going to NS so that I'll enjoy my days there. So, with no regrets, I AM LEAVING HOME for 64 days. And to where?

Sabah it is.

It will be my first time on a plane :)

As for tomorrow, I'll try not to break into tears when my parents send me off. It's my decision to go anyways. Fighting!

I HAD THE BEST QUALITY TIME WITH MY BROTHER AT SUNWAY LAGOON :D Just both of us, Allan and I. We were like a couple going on a date!! :x

It rained for an hour that day. But thank goodness there was no thunder or lightning. The rides in the wet/water park were still open! Playing in the rain was the best part of the day. The feeling of running up and down without our shoes and the drops of rain touching the surface of our skin, and we were shivering all the time! It was just so much fun! At the end of the day, after playing almost all the rides there, we went to the Wild Life Park! :D

Thanks for stopping by again eventhough I've been ignoring this blog for such a long time already. What I'm really amazed after all this while is my blog's statistics! I don't know where all the stalkers come from. It seems that people are stalking everyday even without new post or updates! Don't you people feel bored reading the same thing over and over again? lol. But anyways, for those who clicked on the nuffnang ad, THANK YOU :) and for those who didn't, THANKS for stalking LOL.

So, where to begin?

Taylor's Info Day was awesome. I really liked the presentation/talk given by Mr Edwin. It INSPIRED me to further my studies in Taylor's. For average people like me, studying in Taylor's is like a bomb in the pocket. But I'm really hoping to get a scholarship. And of course, to reduce my dad's burden. Allan's one will be much more worse than mine since he's so determined to fly to Melbourne. I wouldn't mind if I don't get to study overseas. It's just to experience something different in life. But if there's an opportunity, I will not hesitate.

Firstly, dearest Michele, thanks for tagging :D lol. Great opportunity for me to express my feelings :D
Please, just stop wasting my time. I'm tired, I'm stressed out and I had enough of all these crap. You said there will be a marching competition this week. FINE. I stayed back EVERYDAY in school to practice. And what was the attendance like? WHAT? 9? 6? 5? Never mind. I did what I have to do, I continued the practice with them. I even went to look for the members personally and I was like PLEADING them to come for practices. But yet, out of 21 I went to look for, 9 showed up. And now you tell me that you don't even know when is the competition or is it even still on. WTF? I felt so stupid. As if I'm not dark enough that I have to stand under the hot sun and get penetrated by UV rays all over my body. Screw this.
You think I don't suffer under the hot sun like you do? Ignoring me as if I'm a wall and ran away for break? Tired? Thirsty? EXCUSE ME LAH. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO YELL! You people don't even know how mad I felt and you guys thought I was just playing/joking around. SERIOUSLY?! Since you people didn't even bother, me playing basketball was like a BIG DEAL. YOU PEOPLE CAN JUST RUN AWAY LIKE THAT, BUT I NEED TO LISTEN TO YOU PEOPLE SHOUTING AT ME FOR PLAYING BASKETBALL. SCREW THIS ALSO LARH!!

I did nothing today.

Reorganized my computer. Deleted those rubbish files. Uninstalled all unwanted softwares. Changed new desktop background ( this is something really rare for me.lol. I normally won't even bother about the background :D ) Played with sidebar gadgets. LOL! Changed my Mozilla's Persona. Oh my, I'm so in love with the current one.

Interaction Day yesterday,Friday. Dad didn't say much. He didn't like my "Surat Aku Janji" either. He said I could do better. I bet he expected something better. sigh.

Penang Trip - Day 3!

I know it's super late for this and sorry for pending it so long! :(

Day 1!

Day 2!

We check-out from the hotel around 8.30 a.m and headed to the opposite restaurant for our breakfast. In Penang, Prawn Mee is known as Hokkien Mee. And my bowl of Hokkien Mee costed only RM 2.50! Ohmygoodness!! Where to find this kind of price in KL?!

Our last place to visit was the Botanical Garden! It was different from my last visit there. Now, there's a lot of small stalls outside selling plants! Dad and mum stopped by every stall -.- so Allan and I decided to make our way in first :) Allan was prepared for this whole Botanical Garden thing. Wearing his sports attire, running shoes and that spirit inside him.. ohmygoodness -.- He jogged, and I walked :D

Went over to Seberang Prai to meet with my another uncle from my mum's side. lol. He brought us to this Hainanese Western Food Restaurant. The food super good eh! Even the Sultan of Kedah was there to eat before. Amazing, right?! Super unbelievable. After that meal, we headed straight to Ipoh. Since I was craving for chicken rice since the first day in Penang, dad took us to this chicken rice shop although I was still bloated lol.

I'm not too sure about the "most famous", the food was like... average only..

Our ONE LAST STOP before heading straight back to KL was the Yee Hup (biscuits and etc etc..)

Slept throughout the whole journey back! Since it was raining, traffic ohmygoodness :( I called Aunt Susan and she said Hugo was crying. Poor fella. She also told me a lot of stories about Hugo crying every night and I bet she didn't get enough sleep. So sorry :(

Took Hugo back and reached home around 7 p.m :D
Honestly, tired.
But then, I had lots of fun!
Can't wait for the next trip to Penang again! :D

I just don't get it, you don't even study and you excel almost every subject except for your BM -.- whereas your sister studies like mad but yet, the results aren't satisfying at all :( I thought we're siblings, I thought we should have the same type of brain. gah! LOL -.- I'm asking too much. Besides, IF we really do have the same type of brain, I think this house will turn upside down. HAHAHAH :p

Our friendship started at the year of 2006, secondary school, Form 1 Delta.
I got to know her because of Breena. She was a friend of hers whereas I was sitting right at the back of the class with a primary school friend. During my first LB/Chinese period, I sat with Breena at the back of 1 Epsilon where the others were having their Chinese lesson.

We got along quite well.
Then, Breena introduced me to her.

Back then, I was short -.- I mean, REALLY SHORT and she was really tall from the way I see her. At least now, although still not as tall as her, but then.. hehe :D A bit more only :p

Honestly, I used to call her a book worm behind her back and I don't mean a nerd. She carries at least one story book wherever she goes. To me, it was a very creepy thing to do. LOL. I didn't like reading at first, I guess I got influenced, maybe by her. She has this very fierce-looking-face when she gets serious. And she loves to use "duh" when she's not serious :D Never disturb her when her mood swings, or you'll get it nicely from her :D

What I'm being grateful is that she taught me how to speak Mandarin. This friend here loves to remind me to be grateful and thankful to her. LOL. So now, with the biggest appreciation,

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING AND FOR BEING A GOOD FRIEND!

with loves.

And that good friend of mine, is Michele Lau Kai Lee who officially turned 17 today.

Our second day~

Both having so fake punya smile, I like :D LOL!

Went to Air Hitam for breakfast at the laksa stall before going up Kek Lok Si. Couldn't recover my brother-eating-laksa-expression pictures, sigh. It tasted really good :D After breakfast, mum and dad had to buy i-forgot-what-medicine for grandma at a shop somewhere on the way to Kek Lok Si. So, Allan and I decided to continue our way to the temple while mum and dad went down to the morning market. We did some prayers since we knew some of the ways to do it. Then. we wanted to go up to the Temple of Kuan Yin but it was drizzling, sigh again. I've been there once actually, with the cable car (or tramp? lol I don't know what they call it) but it was Allan's first time. Too bad :(

Penang Trip - Day 1!

I was sort of upset when the Thailand trip was cancelled because of the meeting my dad had on Tuesday :( So, in order to fix things up, dad decided to take us go Penang! Alvin and Andy couldn't follow though. They had work to do. Sigh. So much for family vacation.

We hunted for FOOD almost every trip to Penang. So, this time, we decided to go visit tourist attractions in Penang. But couldn't make it to all the places on my list though. Some places really SPEECHLESS ah! Nevermind, I had fun.

And do you know how hard is it to get a hotel room reservation when you plan to go somewhere last minute? That Friday, my dad and I spent almost like an hour to call for reservations and we got NONE. Then, dad decided to call my uncle and asked for help :)

I mentioned about starting the journey around six in the morning, right?


Yeah, we left at 6.13 am :D

I was really bored during the journey since Allan decided to sleep. Talked a lot with mum and dad until dad said I was disturbing his concentration -.- But I managed to stay awake! :D lol.


I was craving for breakfast. felt so hungry lol.

After check-in, we had our lunch with my uncle and his family at some hawker stall and went over to his place. Since it was drizzling, aunt bought durians back instead of going there together.

My uncle owns two dogs, Rusty, a Golden Retriever and Prince, a Toy Poodle. Two years back, Rusty was a very active and healthy dog. He was as big as Allan when he stood up. But this visit, I felt so terrified when I saw Rusty. He was ill as in very sick. He couldn't walk. Both of his back legs were in terrible condition. Even the veterinarians didn't know what is wrong with him. He chokes when he drinks. Pity fella. Uncle said he was gonna put him to sleep :( It was the best way to stop him from suffering. Oh goodbye Rusty T_T

Not getting enough sleep is always an issue for me since I study last minute all the time. Not to mention, my insomnia. Yeah, I'm having that sickness since Form 4. But it was only for a short period of time and it came back. Welcome back? -.- Coffee no longer keeps me up at night so I decided to try hot chocolate instead and it works :D At least, chocolates are better than coffee :x

I'm so gonna remember this day -.- I sat for paper one before recess. During recess, I felt this sick-ish feeling but never bother about it. I kept telling myself, just one more paper for the day, might as well just finish it and get some rest at home.But things turn out pretty bad though. I was having a really bad headache and it's super creepy cause for a moment I felt hot and the next thing, I was having cold sweats! I couldn't stand anymore and went home. Terrible day.

Start saving the Earth! It's never too late.

My dad recently picked up gardening as his new hobby. Mum was quite annoyed at first because my dad actually "modified" all her plants. HAHAHAHA! Another thing was, my dad bought more and more plants back. Oh my! Sooner or later, I think I'll be staying in a jungle. lol :D

Since studying was stressful enough, mum suggested that I go help my dad and I did. Lol! Digging the soil with a cangkul was enough to cause my hand to blister -.- Yesh, I did not wear any gloves cause I thought I was going to do it for fun. Not easy eh! Not even ten minutes already start complaining "here pain, there pain" haha!!

Oh! Don't feed the plants with water and fertilizers only, feed them with LOVE too! LOL. Talk to them, tell them to grow faster. That's what my aunt told me. HAHAHAHA. If any strangers pass by, they must think I'm insane -.-

It was yesterday, Sunday, 4.04.2010.
My last Sports Day before graduating from secondary school :( I don't think there will be any Sports Day in colleges or universities, right? sigh. But then.. I had fun!

Speaking of getting sunburn, my hands are still red! Even worse, my face ah! ohmygoodness -.- My aunts were making fun out of it. so mean you know. It's not like I wanted a tomato face or something :( Slept throughout the whole journey to my grandma's house. Then, continued sleeping in my grandma's room. I was really tired and exhausted and there's also this fever-ish feeling. Luckily, I felt really better after the nap. Oh ya, today's a HOLIDAY for my school! and basically, I did nothing! Only sorting the pictures. Aiyoyo! Sort until myself also sot -.- There's like 13xx something, and after deleting, there's still 12xx -.- Usually, I'll organize my photos twice but I think I'll skip this one -.-

I had tiring, stressful and nervous moments in school today. Being a part of the debate isn't my thing. Like most people, I couldn't talk normally when I'm nervous. I can't even stand people watching/looking at me when I'm presenting something. My nervous receptors will trigger and send impulses real fast. Then, my responses will be Blur/Stuck/Even blur -.- sigh.

I guess I just have to put in more effort and courage. Nothing comes easy, right? If it doesn't work, then I'll just have to make it work! I'll have to stop giving excuses ( I've been doing this for a very long time already ) and start practicing! If things doesn't turn out right, at least I tried! I feel motivated. rofl.

This house always seem so.. empty. And I think I know why :(
But, it feels like a family now!

Yeah, I'm feeling really good right now :)

For the first time this year, I felt really free! It's like there's nothing to rush, nothing to write, nothing to be done! I think I'm managing my time quite well :D And I'm so proud of myself. haha :) But I know, it won't last -.- cause there's more to come and more stuff to be done. I manage to finish up most of the things these few days just because I don't have to stay back in school for this whole week. But then, when the following week starts, I guess I'll be heading back to my old routine :( Staying up late to rush those evil homeworks that can't stop haunting me every night, delaying homeworks cause couldn't finish them all, getting more SICK with homeworks, not getting enough sleep, then the grumpy me makes my following day sucks, and the most hated of all, I COULDN'T PLAY AUDITION :( lol :x

I'm gonna find something to do now :D

Ixora does brings back a a lot of memories to me. I remember my grandma once told me that there's this sweet juice/liquid? once you pluck the end of the flower. She even taught me how to do it. I remember tasting it too! Gosh! And how old was I that time? 6? 7? Then I remember plucking all the flowers from my grandma's garden with my cousins. HAHA! The Ixora plants were really bald that time. ROFL!

I shall start with,

HAPPY BELATED ONE YEAR IN NEW HOME,
MY FAMILY! :D

Time sure flies, huh? I could still remember Friday 13, last year, when we shifted in to this new house. I was really excited that time that I couldn't sleep for the first night! Disturbing younger brother through the toilet door. HAHA :D Well, I'm still doing it :P I'll be really grateful this time. I promise.

Secondly, The English Camp held in the school hall. I seriously had no intention to go at first, but as the photographer for the camp, I had to sacrifice my relaxing Saturday D: Things changed after attending this camp. It was way different than what I've expected. I enjoyed it. The consultant was Uncle Sam. Oh ya, I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA TEACH ENGLISH, like grammar, vocabs, how to write good essays and stuffs like that. BUT, NO! Uncle Sam was actually there to tell us about the COMPETITIVE WORLD outside, without English, we won't stand a chance to survive. WE HAVE TO BE THE SURVIVORS. rawr! Haha :x Yet, it was more like a talk than teaching. lol!

It was the talking session where most of the students went out to talk. Any topic. Random. Then, how "fortunate," I got called. Thanks Tulasii -.- So, I mentioned about my stressful form 5 life.

Lastly,

I found courage to confront about this certain thing that has been bugging me since... last year? I realize how much better I felt and emotional and the same time after confronting. LOL! Speaking of exams, I kinda improved :D compared with the mid-term one. All my hard work/efforts paid off! I gotta admit, I did put a lot of effort in this one. After all, it was the final task of the year.

The papers shot me. Right on spot. LOL! Sucked all my brain juice and now, I'm blank. I actually tried really hard not to get distracted and to study weeks before the exam. But, I FAILED. I FAILED BADLY D: studying last minute, again, as usual :( And there's this major problem revising a particular subject before I sit for the paper the next day. I've been spamming coffee for 4 days straight just to keep myself awake till 2 a.m. in the morning D: and wake up 6 a.m.

Darn torturing. Felt sick almost every night trying to remember each word, each sentence, each page. My gosh D: So freaking glad it's over now, and the up coming one,

If there's no dream,

It will be pointless and meaningless to live.
Since there's nothing to aim for.

As for me, who turned 16 a month ago, found a new dream! Forget about living in big bungalows/mansions! Cause from now on, my dream is to stay in a PENTHOUSE :D A really nice penthouse with super great facilities around the condominium for me to enjoy life !

In Malaysia, penthouse is usually located at the highest floor of a condominium building. Not all condos have penthouse though. And not all condominiums provide good facilities. Ha! Speaking of facilities, surely, good facilities comes with a higher maintenance fee to pay D: But if it's worth the money, I won't mind paying :D By the time my life's financial is stable, PENTHOUSE, HERE I COME :D :D :D !!!

I began to dream-living in a penthouse after attending one of my dad's i-don't-know-how-to-call-that-lady-'s Hari Raya Open House at Armanee Condominium, Damansara Damai. And guess what?! It a was poolside party! My second time though :x The condos there are so HUGE!
Can you believe it's 2xxx square feet per unit?!! And it's a 2-storey unit! Can you imagine having a staircase inside your condo? LOL. I can't stop drooling D: But the sad thing is, I didn't get to see the lady's condo D: What a waste. GAHHHH!

Oh! Buildings sure are good models! :D

I wanna live at the penthouse! The ones up there !! :D

I've been hunting for an alarm clock recently cause my room doesn't have one D: since I shifted. At least I took this really great opportunity to hunt for my "all-time-dream-of-alarm-clock" lolness :x and my dream came true! It's exactly the one I had in mind for ages! And as I am very picky in the sense of colours, it's so hard to believe that
